Fish games are one of the most popular game categories on 899jl, and it's easy to see why. Fast action, striking visuals, straightforward mechanics, and real PHP rewards make fish shooting games a favourite for players across the Philippines — whether you're a first-timer or a regular at the tables.
What Are Fish Games?
Fish games — also called fish shooting games or fish hunter games — are arcade-style wagering games where players use a mounted cannon to shoot fish and other sea creatures swimming across the screen. Each fish has a different point value, and the winnings you collect depend on which fish you catch and how many bullets you use to catch them.
Unlike slots or card games, fish games are highly interactive. You're actively aiming and shooting in real time, which gives the gameplay a more dynamic, hands-on feel. This is a big part of why they've become so popular with Filipino players who enjoy games that require a bit of skill and quick decision-making alongside the luck element.
On 899jl, fish games are available across multiple game rooms with different betting levels — from casual low-stakes rooms suited to beginners all the way to high-value rooms for experienced players who want bigger targets and larger potential rewards. All prizes are paid out in Philippine Peso (PHP), and the same fast withdrawal options you'd use for any other game apply here too.
Whether you're playing from Manila, Cebu, Quezon City, or Davao, 899jl's fish games are optimised for mobile play so you can enjoy the full experience right from your phone without needing a high-end device or a strong connection.
Types of Fish Games on 899jl
The fish games library on 899jl covers a range of themes, betting levels, and special features. Here are some of the main game types you'll find on the platform.
The original format — a wide underwater arena filled with fish of different sizes and values. Aim carefully, manage your bullet spending, and take down the biggest catches for the best returns.
Best for BeginnersFeature rounds where a massive boss creature — a giant shark, a colossal crab, or a mythical sea dragon — swims onto the screen. Boss fish require more bullets but deliver significantly higher payouts when caught.
High Reward PotentialJoin a shared room with other players all shooting at the same school of fish. The competition adds an extra layer of excitement as you race to land the highest-value catches before anyone else.
Social GamingSome 899jl fish games include special weapon upgrades — rapid-fire cannons, lightning nets, and area-effect blasts that can hit multiple fish at once, giving you a significant advantage during bonus windows.
Action-PackedProgressive jackpot variants feature rare, golden fish that carry jackpot multipliers. Landing one of these special targets triggers a prize pool payout that goes beyond the standard per-fish value system.
Jackpot FeatureDesigned specifically for smaller screens, these rooms simplify the controls for one-handed play while keeping the full game experience intact — ideal for players gaming on their phones during a commute or break.

Getting started with fish games on 899jl is quick and straightforward. Here's the step-by-step process from signing up to landing your first catch:
Register for free on 899jl and complete the verification process. Once your account is active and your deposit is in, you're ready to access the fish games lobby.
The fish games lobby on 899jl lists available rooms by betting level and game type. Pick a room that matches your budget — lower bet rooms are great for learning the mechanics, while higher-stakes rooms suit experienced players.
Before you start shooting, set the value of each bullet. Higher bullet values mean bigger potential rewards per catch but faster credit consumption. Start low while you're getting familiar with each game's fish values.
Use the on-screen cannon controls to aim and fire. Different fish require different numbers of bullets to catch. When you land a fish, your winnings are credited to your balance in PHP automatically.
When you're ready to cash out, head to the withdrawal section. 899jl supports PHP withdrawals via bank transfer and local e-wallets. VIP members enjoy faster processing times. Visit the Withdrawal page for current details.

Tips for Playing Fish Games Smarter
Fish games involve both skill and luck. While there's no guaranteed strategy that changes the outcome — and anyone telling you otherwise isn't being straight with you — there are a few habits that help you manage your budget and get more out of each session on 899jl.
When entering a new room or trying a new fish game on 899jl, keep your bullet value low at first. Use the early part of your session to learn the fish movement patterns and identify which targets offer the best value before committing to higher stakes.
Small common fish consume bullets just like larger targets do, but pay far less. If you're chasing meaningful rewards, focus your shots on mid-to-high value fish and save your firepower for when boss fish or jackpot targets appear on screen.
Decide how much PHP you're comfortable spending before you enter a room. Once you hit that amount, step out and review your session. Fish games can move quickly, and having a preset limit keeps things enjoyable and within your means.
In many 899jl fish game rooms, boss fish appear on a timed cycle. If you notice a boss is due, hold some of your bullets in reserve rather than burning through them on ordinary fish right before the high-value target arrives.
The 899jl mobile app gives you more responsive touch controls compared to a browser session. If you're playing fish games seriously, downloading the app is worth it for the improved feel and lower input latency. Visit the Download page to get started.
